| Yarika Sibirskoe Ocharovanie of Astera (Rika for short) is the sister of Tigre and another true Siberian Forest Cat from the city of Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. She is a very intelligent and athletic girl, who loves to get into everything. She loves to be picked up and held, as long as you do it on her terms. She dictates the cuddle times, a she does not want it to interfere with her moments of curiosity. Like her brother, she is tiger-like in her appearance and graceful in her movement. She will be a beautiful mother with beautiful tiger-like kittens who will be alive, athletic, and energetic. |
| Yanislav Sibirskoe Ocharovanie of Astera (Tigre because he looks like a little tiger) and his sister Rika are our newest additions to the Astera lines. They are true Siberians, as they both come from Krasnoyarsk, Sibieria. We are not sure if Tigre is a Siberian Forest Cat or a minature Tiger! His colors are very unique, and when he prowls around our local forest, he actually looks like a tiger stalking his prey. Not only is he tiger-like in appearance, but he has the personality of a gentleman. He always wants attention. He loves for you to hold him in your arms, even if he is upside down. He follows you from room to room, always wanting you to play with him or pick him up. Tigre has true Siberian potential and we cannot wait to meet his future little kittens. |
Astera Jabari Jabari means “brave” and he lives up to his name.He is our newest male kitten. We are not sure if Jabari is a dog or a cat. He follows us everywhere that we go. He loves to be held. He begs for treats. He wants to play and cuddle all of the time. He wants to get involved in everything. He loves to go for car rides. Even a trip to the vet is an adventure for him. Jabara is the son of our beloved and belated Derica. His father is Yaroshka, the brother of Toma and Yasna from my hometown of Tomsk, Siberia. This was a one of a kind special mating that produced a very special kitten. Jabara is very brave, strong, and athletic, as he loves to play and get involved. |

| Jenisey Silva Line of Astera (pronounced YEN-I-SAY) We looked for two years to find the best male Siberian in Russia and Jenisey was the answer! Jenisey is a black silver male from St. Petersburg and he is known as our Gentle Giant! He weighs over 16 pounds of pure muscle and he could be the enforcer of the home, but instead he chooses to be the soft, warm, friendly, lovable, cuddly, and silent leader. Our friends who know him call him “Loverboy”, because he always asks for and gives in return love to all that he knows. When he was at the hospital giving blood transfusions to our beloved Derica, he made friends with all of the nurses and doctors. He treated a blood transfusion as a chance to cuddle! On a trip to St. Louis, he sat in his owners laps for the entire 12 hour drive. He likes to go places and is always calm and confident in strange surroundings. He is a most beautiful cat, receiving many complements from all who meet him. One show owner commented that “it is too bad that everyone cannot see Jenisey in person, because his true beauty cannot be caught on a camera. |
| Astera Yasinka-Toma (we call her Tomchka) Toma is a female from Tomsk, Russia. She is the daughter of our Chara-Bonny, who still resides with my mother in Tomsk. She came to America when she was seven months old. She is known as our little Tiger, because she looks so much like the beautiful cat of the jungle. Toma is a very feminine, graceful, and opinionated lady. She has a strong opinion about everything. She is an outstanding mother who breeds some of our most beautiful kittens. Toma loves and protects her kittens with her life. Often, she steals other kittens from her sister’s litter so that she can love and care for them as well. Whenever we come into our home, Toma always comes by to say hello and to ask how we are doing and then she hurries back to whatever she was doing at that time. She keeps busy all the time. There is always a kitten who needs her love and attention. |
Astera Yasna Yasna is the sister of Toma who came over to America at the same time. Yasna’s unique colorings made her very special. Yasna is a large, strong, and very willful female that likes to play chase and hide-and-seek. She asks for you to hold her, but you must find her and catch her first. That is her little game! After you catch her, she loves to cuddle in your arms. Yasna is very unique in that she can give almost any color of kitten. She is an outstanding breeding cat who has given many rare and beautiful colored Siberians to the world. |
| Astera Huntress Huntress is known as our little Princess. She was Jenisey’s and Toma’s most beautiful kitten. She is graceful and feminine like her mother and calm and lovable like her father. Huntress may be our most beautiful cat. Huntress loves to be held and carried everywhere. She is very sweet and playful and she loves to cuddle, especially when she can get you alone. She knows that she is especially beautiful and she wants to be treated like a princess. She loves treats, toys, endless hugs, kisses and compliments. |

| Astera Nova Vita is our beloved Derica's little daughter. We wanted to keep a kitten from Derica's last litter that looked the most like her. We agreed that it is Nova Vita. Nova Vita resembles her mother in so many ways. She is a big lovebug who loves to go for car rides, loves to ride in the stroller at the park, and she loves to hunt creeping things in the back yard, She is best friends with Jabari and Huntress. They often run and laugh and play together. We have so many hopes for this sweet little kitten. |
